Seven Ukrainian regions experiencing rolling blackouts on November 1

Air raid sirens went off throughout Ukraine on Monday morning with a number of the country’s regions reporting damage to energy facilities

KIEV, November 1./TASS/. Ukraine’s Ukrenergo has issued the schedule of rolling power outages across the country on Tuesday.

"Kiev, as well as the Kiev, Chernigov, Cherkassy, Zhitomir, Sumy, Kharkov and Poltava Regions will experience rolling blackouts," Ukraine's electricity transmission system operator wrote on its Telegram channel.

This will enable electrical engineers to restore damaged power facilities, balance the system and provide consumers with electricity, the company explained.
