Russian missile and artillery troops struck 408 Ukrainian military targets overnight

MOSCOW, April 28. /TASS/. Russian combat aircraft struck 67 Ukrainian military sites overnight, eliminating over 300 nationalists and up to 40 pieces of armor, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Thursday.

"Operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces struck 67 Ukrainian military facilities overnight, including six command posts, two company-level strongholds, two large missile/artillery arms and fuel depots in the settlements of Preobrazhenka and Orekhov, and also 55 areas of amassed enemy manpower and military equipment," the spokesman said.

The air strikes eliminated over 300 Ukrainian nationalists and up to 40 armored and motor vehicles, the general said.

Russian missile and artillery troops struck 408 Ukrainian military targets overnight, Konashenkov said.

"Throughout the night, the missile and artillery troops accomplished 408 fire tasks, striking 18 command posts and 383 areas of the amassment of enemy manpower and military equipment," the spokesman said.

The Russian troops delivered strikes by air-launched precision missiles to cripple four Ukrainian military sites, including two arms depots, Konashenkov said.

"Air-launched precision missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces struck four Ukrainian military sites overnight, destroying two areas of amassed enemy manpower and military equipment. They also wiped out two missile/artillery arms and ammunition depots near the settlements of Barvenkovo and Ivanovka," the spokesman said.

The Russian forces have eliminated 614 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 2,623 tanks and other armored vehicles and 299 multiple rocket launchers since the start of their special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov said.

"Overall, the following targets have been eliminated since the start of the special military operation: 142 aircraft, 111 helicopters, 614 unmanned aerial vehicles, 276 surface-to-air missile systems, 2,623 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 299 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,146 field artillery guns and mortars and 2,431 special military motor vehicles," the spokesman said.
