Russia says 470 Ukrainian drones, 2,290 armored vehicles were destroyed during operation

Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov on Sunday said the Russian armed forces had destroyed 470 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, 2,290 tanks and armored vehicles and 254 multiple launch rocket systems since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine.

"Since the start of the special military operation a total of 134 warplanes, 470 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, 249 air defense systems, 2,290 tanks and other armored vehicles, 254 multiple launch rocket systems, 992 field artillery guns and mortars and 2,166 special military have been destroyed," he said.

According to the spokesman, the Russian rocket and artillery forces struck 814 targets of the armed forces of Ukraine, including 17 command posts, 111 artillery firing positions and 684 strongholds and enemy manpower clusters.

In addition, Konashenkov said that Russian air defense systems in the area of the settlements of Avdeyevka, Bayrak, Lozovaya, Malaya Kamyshevakha, Novoprokopovka, Pologi, Chernobayevka, Shirokoye and Yasinovataya shot down 10 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
