Trump says he seeks to avoid wrong moves in Ukraine settlement efforts

The US president commented on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff

WASHINGTON, October 21. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump told reporters that he was trying to avoid making the wrong moves as he sought to help resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

"The last thing I want to do is upset an apple cart where we're getting close to settling a war," he said, commenting on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff.

"The last thing you're going to do is ‘let's do something horrendous’," Trump added.
