The restrictions affect 82 individuals and legal entities

LONDON, May 20. /TASS/. The UK has extended the anti-Russia sanctions list, having added 82 individuals and legal entities, as well as 18 vessels, as part of fighting against the ‘shadow fleet’.

TASS has collected the main facts about new restrictions.

The scale of new sanctions

Eighty-two individuals and legal entities were blacklisted.

Restrictions were extended to 46 Russian financial organizations, according to the British Foreign Office.

‘Shadow fleet’

The UK imposed sanctions on 18 vessels that are allegedly connected with Russia’s ‘shadow fleet’.

Individuals

London blacklisted members of the Social Design Agency, Russian Presidential Administration staffer Sofia Zakharova, deputy head of MT-Systems Igor Bystrov, British businessman John Michael Ormerod, owner of Telecor-SpaceNet company Stanislav Klevitsky, and businessmen Ivan Nikiforov and Alexander Kolesnikov.

Legal entities

Restrictions were extended to the State Corporation Deposit Insurance Agency, VTB Registrar, VTB Specialized Depository, Surgutinvestneft, distributor of electronic components MT-Systems.

Financial organizations

St. Petersburg Currency Exchange was put on the sanctions list, which also includes Specialized depository Infinitum, Specialized Registrar Compass, KRC Registrar, Republican Specialized registrar Yakut Stock Center, Joint-stock company Register, Petersburg Settlement Center.

Other entities

Among those blacklisted are also Scientific Production Enterprise Nifrit, Atoma LLC, Electronic Scientific Engineering (China), Innopolis (China), Rhodania (Switzerland), Pioneer Trade, Red October corporation, Shanghai New Chess International Logistics (China), Shanghai New Chess (China).
