NEW YORK, February 18. /TASS/. US entrepreneur Elon Musk agreed with the opinion that the United States is spreading misleading information about the situation in Ukraine and the beginning of the conflict.

"Accurate," Musk wrote in a comment under a post by US businessman David Sacks on the X social network about the Ukrainian crisis.

"The war in Ukraine is based on lies — lies about how it started, how it’s going, and how it will end. We are told that Ukraine is winning when in fact it is losing. We are told that the war makes NATO stronger when in fact it is depleting it <...>. We are told that there is no opportunity to make peace when in fact we have rejected multiple opportunities for a negotiated settlement," Sacks opined.

Earlier, Musk said that allocating a new aid package to Kiev and prolonging the conflict would not help Ukraine.
