Authorities of Ukraine’s central, southern regions issue air raid alerts

Similar warnings were published by Telegram channels of top regional officials in Kirovograd, Nikolayev and Cherkassy

KIEV, October 20. /TASS/. An air raid alert was declared in the early hours of Thursday in a number of Ukraine’s central and southern regions, local authorities said.

"Attention! Air raid alert is in place in the region! Missile hazard," the head of Poltava Region’s military administration Dmitry Lunin wrote in his Telegram channel.

Similar warnings were published by Telegram channels of top regional officials in Kirovograd, Nikolayev and Cherkassy, as well as the city council secretary of Zaporozhye.

The Klimenko Time news portal said alerts were also issued in the Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions.
