In his words, the Ukrainian troops may try to once again break through the front line

LUGANSK, October 17. /TASS/. The allied forces have repelled a large-scale offensive of the Ukrainian armed forces near the cities of Svatovo and Kremennaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), an LPR military source told TASS on Sunday.

"Today, the Ukrainian armed forces undertook a large-scale attempt to advance towards Svatovo and Kremennaya, but it was repelled by the allied forces. Around 85-90% of the attacking forces have been totally defeated," the source said.

In his words, the Ukrainian troops may try to once again break through the front line.

"They [the Ukrainian troops] are not going to give up their assaults, so the coming days will be hard in those areas," the source added.

The head of the LPR mission to Moscow, Rodion Miroshnik, told TASS on Friday that the Kiev government has amassed up to 35,000 servicemen in the Svatovo area, which may indicate their plans of a quick assault.
