China’s Communist Party highlights need to properly respond to threats from Ukraine crisis

It is reported that the seventh plenary session of 19th CPC Central Committee, which took place in Beijing on October 9-12, involved 199 Central Committee members and 159 candidates for the Committee

BEIJING, October 12. /TASS/. The Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) emphasized the need to properly respond to the risks and threats created by the crisis in Ukraine, according to a communique published by the Xinhua news agency on Wednesday following the seventh plenary session of 19th CPC Central Committee.

"[There is a need] to properly respond to the risks and threats that the Ukrainian crisis carries with it," the document reads.

The seventh plenary session of 19th CPC Central Committee, which took place in Beijing on October 9-12, involved 199 Central Committee members and 159 candidates for the Committee. The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is scheduled to begin on October 16.
