No pleas for mercy received from foreign mercenaries by DPR Supreme Court

DPR leader Denis Pushilin told journalists he sees no grounds for pardoning the foreign mercenaries

DONETSK, June 16. /TASS/. The Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has not received pleas for mercy from UK citizens Sean Pinner and Aiden Aslin and Moroccan national Brahim Saadoun, who took part in the Ukrainian conflict as mercenaries and who have been sentenced to capital punishment, the court told TASS on Thursday.

"No pleas have been received from them as of yet," it said.

On June 9, a DPR sentenced two British nationals, Shaun Pinner and Aiden Aslin, as well as Moroccan Brahim Saadoun to capital punishment for fighting in the Ukrainian army as mercenaries. They were captured in Donbass.

DPR leader Denis Pushilin told journalists he sees no grounds for pardoning the foreign mercenaries.
