Ukrainian forces fire 25 Grad rockets on Donetsk, DPR reports

DONETSK, June 13. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces have shelled a Donetsk district with Grad rockets, the Donetsk People's Republic's mission to the Joint Ceasefire Control and Coordination Center reported on Monday.

In an attack on the city’s Kuibyshevsky district that lasted six minutes, Ukrainian forces fired 25 Grad rockets, the mission said. Ukrainian forces have been shelling Donetsk since this morning, with casualties reported.

At 14:25 Moscow time, seven 122 mm shells were fired on the Kuibyshevsky district, the mission also said.

Cities in the DPR have lately been coming under intense bombardment from Ukrainian forces, who have been using 155 mm artillery guns in service with NATO countries. Canada, the US and other Western countries earlier supplied Ukraine with M777 155mm howitzers and ammo. Also, Ukrainian forces reportedly used a French Caesar artillery system.
