At least 69% of surveyed Russians trust Putin — poll

MOSCOW, June 26. /TASS/. The level of trust among Russians in President Vladimir Putin stands at 69%, according to the results of a poll conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM) among 1,500 Russians.

The survey was carried out from June 19 to 21.

"69% of Russians expressed trust in Vladimir Putin. Also, the majority of respondents (71%) are confident that he is performing his duties as head of state effectively, the social service noted in its statement.

A positive assessment of the government's work was given by 44% of survey participants. 52% of respondents stated that the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mikhail Mishustin, is doing a good job in office.

The level of support for "United Russia" was 35%, the LDPR - 10%, the CPRF - 9%, "New People" - 7%, and "A Just Russia" - 3%.
