MOSCOW, May 8. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Monday, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

It was reported earlier on Monday that Mirziyoyev had left for Moscow, at the invitation of the Russian president, to take part in the celebrations dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
