Village of Katerinovka liberated in Lugansk People’s Republic, says Chechnya’s leader

Kadyrov said that most Ukrainian nationalists had been eliminated in the successful offensive

GROZNY, June 22. /TASS/. The settlement of Katerinovka has been liberated in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the Russian North Caucasus region of Chechnya, wrote on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.

"Soldiers of the Akhmat special forces units, under the command of <…> Hero of Russia Zamid Chalaev, alongside allied troops have liberated another settlement in the Lugansk People’s Republic - the village of Katerinovka," Kadyrov wrote.

Kadyrov said that most Ukrainian nationalists had been eliminated in the successful offensive.

"A few of them managed to get away, but our fighters have promised to track them down in no time," he added.
