The only site where voting in the Russian presidential election took place with government permission in Moldova was on the premises of the Russian diplomatic mission in Chisinau, with people seen standing in queues to cast their ballots

CHISINAU, March 18. /TASS/. Vladimir Putin scored a victory in the Russian presidential election in Moldova, gaining 85% of the vote.

"Voter turnout in Chisinau stood at 2,092. Of that number, 1,765 people, or around 85%, voted for Vladimir [Putin]," the Russian embassy in Moldova told a TASS reporter after 100% of ballots had been counted.
