Politician points to increasing intensity of fighting in Zaporozhye Region

According to Vladimir Rogov, Russian forces also delivered heavy fire near Vremovka and Novopol in the Donetsk People’s Republic

MELITOPOL, January 20. /TASS/. The intensity of fighting has dramatically increased in the Zaporozhye Region, Chairman of the We Stand With Russia movement Vladimir Rogov said on Friday.

"The intensity of fighting has dramatically increased along the Zaporozhye frontline. Russian Armed Forces have attacked the enemy with tanks, mortars and artillery <...> and launched a local offensive in the Orekhov area. Four settlements were liberated from Ukrainian troops and are now under tight fire control," he wrote on Telegram.

According to Rogov, Russian forces also delivered heavy fire near Vremovka and Novopol in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as near Olgovskoye, Malinovka, Gulyaypole, Zaliznichnye, Gulyaypolskoye, Charivnoye, Belogorye, Malaya Tokmachka, Orekhov, Nesteryanka, Malye Shcherbaki and Kamenskoye in the Zaporozhye Region.
