US redirects 55 vessels since resuming maritime blockade of Iran — CENTCOM

US forces have also disabled 2 vessels

NEW YORK, August 10. /TASS/. US forces have redirected 55 commercial vessels since the maritime blockade of Iran resumed on July 14, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Sunday.

"As of Aug. 9, CENTCOM has redirected 55 commercial vessels, disabled 2, and boarded 2 to ensure compliance [with the maritime blockade]," the command said on X.

On Saturday, the number of redirected vessels stood at 51.
