Lukashenko announces plans to meet with Putin soon

The Belarusian leader requested a report from the Prime Minister about the status of Belarusian-Russian integration projects

MINSK, October 31. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that he will meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin shortly.

"This is definite. We will meet with Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin again shortly and will finally summarize the year, and will plan, at least on the level of presidents, our goals for the next year," Lukashenko said Monday, while receiving report from Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.

Lukashenko requested a report from the Prime Minister about the status of Belarusian-Russian integration projects.

"We agreed with President Putin that about $1.5 billion will be allocated for these integration projects. They are joint; they are beneficial both to us and Russia. Maybe, even more beneficial for Russia than us, that’s why Russia provides credits for them," the Belarusian president said.
