MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/. A substation located near the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station in the city of Zaporozhye has come under attack, Chairman of the We Stand With Russia public movement Vladimir Rogov said on Monday.

"A substation near the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station was hit," he told the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station, adding that "major power outages have begun in the city."

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Strana media outlet reported an explosion and a fire near the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station, where a large plume of smoke can be seen.
