Critical infrastructure damaged in Ukraine’s Chernovtsy region, authorities report

Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Kirill Timoshenko said that emergency blackouts began across the country

KIEV, October 31. /TASS/. Critical infrastructure was damaged in the Chernovtsy region in western Ukraine, Regional Head Ruslan Zaparanyuk said on Monday.

"There is damage to critical infrastructure in the Chernovtsy region," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

An air raid alert was declared across Ukraine on Monday morning, following which reports began coming about damage done to energy infrastructure facilities. Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Kirill Timoshenko said that emergency blackouts began across the country.
