Putin participates in CSTO special session over video link

The Council’s special session was initiated by Armenia to discuss the aftermath of military action with Azerbaijan on September 13-14

MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is taking part in a special meeting of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on Friday.

The Pul Pervogo Telegram channel close to the Belarusian presidential press service aired the footage of leaders attending a video conference.

As Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted earlier, the meeting is held on the eve of a trilateral summit between Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Earlier, Pashinyan said that these talks had been scheduled for October 31 in Sochi.
