LPR authorities announce creation of territorial defense headquarters

Leonid Pasechnik specified that the headquarters’ goal "is to provide protection and promptly respond to threats to the lives and health of civilians, as well as to threats to critical infrastructure, energy and transport facilities"

LUGANSK, October 27. /TASS/. Acting head of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Leonid Pasechnik signed an order establishing a territorial defense headquarters to protect civilians, as he himself wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

"In accordance with the Russian president’s decree, a territorial defense headquarters was created and started to operate in the LPR on October 26, 2022. I already signed the relevant document," he said.

Pasechnik specified that the headquarters’ goal "is to provide protection and promptly respond to threats to the lives and health of civilians, namely women, children and elderly people, as well as to threats to critical infrastructure, energy and transport facilities".
