Diplomat slams reports about Russia’s use of Iranian drones in Ukraine as fake news

Western colleagues are seeking to inflate fake news about some drones allegedly supplied to Russia by Iran, Vasily Nebenzya said

UNITED NATIONS, October 27. /TASS/. Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya has slammed allegations about Russia’s using Iranian drones in Ukraine as fake news.

"Bearing in mind the fact that our Western colleagues are seeking to inflate fakes about some drones allegedly supplied to Russia by Iran, I would like to make things absolutely clear. We have called a meeting on a different matter," he said at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Wednesday. "We have a 2231 format with corresponding UNSC meetings every sic months to address the matters of the implementation of the UNSC Resolution 2231".
