MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. The most severe fighting in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) is taking place near Kremennaya and Svatovo, the LPR interior minister's advisor Vitaly Kiselyov told Channel One on Wednesday.

"The most severe fighting is currently taking place near Kremennaya and Svatovo. Groups consisting of 30 to 50 members of territorial defense units and mobilized troops are testing our defenses, which has tragic consequences [for Ukraine] as they are suffering huge losses. Mercenaries are refusing to join members of territorial defense units, they are only sending mobilized troops," he noted.

Kiselyov said earlier on Wednesday that Polish mercenaries had refused to go into battle near Liman after a number of failed attacks and killed a group of Ukrainian nationalists that had been sent to re-establish order.
