Alexey Kulemzin noted that on Tuesday Donetsk was shelled 47 times, five of the nine districts of Donetsk came under fire

MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces’ strikes on Donetsk have no effect on the situation on the line of contact, it is but ‘terror and genocide’ of civilians, Alexey Kulemzin, the mayor of Donetsk, said on Wednesday during a Channel One TV broadcast.

"This cannot have an impact on the situation on the line of contact, on any tactical, strategic tasks of the military. <...> These are some formations, I cannot call them otherwise, which are engaged in terror and genocide of civilians," he said.

Kulemzin noted that on Tuesday Donetsk was shelled 47 times, five of the nine districts of Donetsk came under fire. Many civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, one civilian was killed, and 13 more were wounded. "The Ukrainian side knows very well that it is shelling non-military objects," he added.
