Russia requests two UN Security Council meetings on Ukraine this week — diplomat

UNITED NATIONS, October 25. /TASS/. The UN Security Council will convene Wednesday under Russia’s request to discuss the allegations that Iran ships drones to Russia, and will discuss the operation of biological laboratories in Ukraine on Thursday, Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky told reporters.

"This week, we get the entire Council busy. Tomorrow, we will talk about the compliance with the UN Charter in regards to the request to carry out an investigation under Resolution 2231 [accusations against shipment of drones to Russia - TASS], while on Thursday we request a meeting in accordance with the Article 6 of the Chemical Weapons Convention," he said.
