MOSCOW, October 24. /TASS/. Russian First Deputy Minister of Defense and head of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov discussed the situation regarding the potential use of a "dirty bomb" by Ukraine during a phone call with his British counterpart Tony Radakin, the Russian Defense Ministry announced Monday.

"On October 24, 2022, Russian Armed Forces Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Army General Valery Gerasimov had a phone call with the UK Chief of the Defense Staff Admiral Tony Radakin. During the phone call, [the sides] continued the discussion of the situation regarding the potential use of a ‘dirty bomb’ by Ukraine," the Ministry said.

Earlier, the media reported that Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu had several phone calls with his counterparts from the US, the UK, France and Turkey, discussing the situation in Ukraine and informing them about potential provocations by Kiev involving a "dirty bomb".
