MOSCOW, October 22. /TASS/. The European Union is not willing to find a peaceful solution to the Ukraine conflict, but invests to protracted hostilities, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Saturday commenting on the EU summit held on October 20-21.

"We see that the EU does not show any willingness to resolve the conflict peacefully. On the contrary, they continue to thoughtlessly invest considerable funds in ongoing hostilities. For this purpose are aimed the decisions on additional (another 500 million euros) funding for arms supplies to the Ukrainian armed forces and on establishing an EU mission on military support for Ukraine," the statement says.

"In fact, the European Union will train and equip with mortal weapons the Ukrainian militants who will keep exterminating the civilian population and wiping out civilian and critical infrastructure. Is the EU ready to share responsibility for these crimes?" Zakharova added.
