Kremlin: ‘No political wisdom to expect from West, especially UK’

Dmitry Peskov pointed out that in the UK the head of the executive branch is not elected by the people, but becomes one as a result of any party reshuffles

MOSCOW, October 21. /TASS/. One should not expect political wisdom from the Western countries, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Right now one should not expect any enlightment or political wisdom from anyone in the Western countries, including the UK," the Kremlin spokesman told reporters on Friday. "Especially in the UK, where the head of the executive branch is not elected by the people, but becomes one as a result of any party reshuffles," Peskov added, commenting on the resignation of UK Prime Minister Liz Truss.
