Putin orders establishing coordination council to work on enhancing security

The council will include deputy prime ministers, representatives of security agencies, the cabinet’s social and economic section, the presidential administration and the State Council

MOSCOW, October 19. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday ordered establishing a special coordination council to be headed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to work on enhancing security.

"I’m ordering the cabinet to prepare a draft presidential decree to establish a special coordination council, which will be headed by the prime minister," he said at a Security Council meeting.

The council will include deputy prime ministers, representatives of security agencies, the cabinet’s social and economic section, the presidential administration and the State Council. According to Putin, that will help to achieve a close interaction with all of the country’s regions.
