Russia, Kazakhstan opposing Western attempts to stage color revolutions, envoy says

It is reported that the two countries’ authorities are well aware that it’s all about destructive geopolitical games and have zero tolerance towards them

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. Moscow and Astana are determined to jointly oppose Western attempts to stage color revolutions and sow instability in the region, Russian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Alexey Borodavkin said in an op-ed for the International Affairs journal.

"Our countries are mutually determined to jointly address external threats to their security and stability, including the collective West’s blatant attempts to destabilize the Central Asian region using the technologies of color revolutions and sowing discord between the people of Russia and Kazakhstan, particularly by maliciously fueling nationalist and Russophobic sentiment in the country. The two countries’ authorities are well aware that it’s all about destructive geopolitical games and have zero tolerance towards them," the envoy pointed out.
