DONETSK, October 18. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military suffered over 40 casualties in battles with the allied forces of the Russian army and militia fighters of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the past day, Spokesman for the DPR People’s Militia Eduard Basurin reported on Tuesday.

"The enemy’s manpower losses amounted to over 40 personnel," the press office of the DPR people’s militia quoted the spokesman as saying on its Telegram channel.

The allied forces of the Russian army and DPR militia fighters also destroyed the following enemy armaments and military hardware in the past 24 hours: a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery gun, three tanks (two T-64BVs and one T-72M1), six armored and motor vehicles, and also shot down three enemy drones, Basurin reported.
