DONETSK, October 18. /TASS/. The Emergencies Ministry of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has destroyed over 152,000 explosive items so far, head of the regional government Vitaly Khotsenko said in an interview with TASS.

"As of today, the Emergencies Ministry’s personnel inspected more than 3,000 hectares of land, which is actually a large area. Over 1.5 million square meters were inspected inside various buildings. More than 152,000 explosive items have been destroyed so far," he specified.

According to Khotsenko, mine clearing activities continue unabated. The facilities where construction workers will soon arrive are being cleared from mines before others, he stressed.
