Power supply to Zaporozhye NPP via Dnieper power line shut down

It is noted that Russia took the Zaporozhye NPP under its control on February 28

MOSCOW, October 17. /TASS/. The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, located in Energodar, has stopped receiving power via the Dnieper power line, says Vladimir Rogov, head of the "We are Together with Russia" movement.

"The Dnieper power line is not operational. The line was shut down by the other side. Automatic systems were triggered. […] Right now, the power plant receives power via the Ferroalloy 330kV power line," he said.

Russia took the Zaporozhye NPP under its control on February 28. On September 11, the last operational reactor unit was shut down due to hostilities of Ukrainian forces, which deliberately targeted the power lines. On October 11, Rosatom CEO advisor Renat Karchaa said that power supply to the nuclear power plant was restored.
