Up to 70 Ukrainian personnel killed in clashes with LPR military in past day

According to Ivan Filiponenko’s report, militia officers cleared an area of more than 6 hectares in Antonovka and Tarabany in the republic’s Starobelsk District of mines in the past 24 hours

LUGANSK, October 17. /TASS/. The losses of Ukraine’s armed forces in fighting in an area controlled by the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic amounted to up to 70 personnel in the past 24 hours, militia spokesman Ivan Filiponenko said on Monday.

"The enemy sustained huge losses in personnel and military equipment as a result of an active offensive by the LPR People’s Militia over the past day. Up to 70 personnel were killed, and three tanks, four armored personnel carriers, two drones and 17 special vehicles were destroyed," the People’s Militia quoted Filiponenko as saying on its Telegram channel.
