Ukrainian subversive group of Azov Neo-Nazis penetrates into DPR — security ministry

It is reported that the saboteurs are plotting a series of terror attacks on the republic’s government agencies and civilians

DONETSK, October 13. /TASS/. A subversive group comprised of militants of the Ukrainian Neo-Nazi Azov formation (outlawed in Russia) penetrated into the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and measures to catch them are underway, the republic’s Security Ministry reported on Thursday.

"A subversive group of Azov terrorists has penetrated into the republic. Thus, an arms cache was prepared for them in Mariupol. The State Security Ministry personnel are carrying out operational and search measures," the Telegram channel of the DPR territorial defense headquarters quoted the ministry’s statement as saying.

The saboteurs are plotting a series of terror attacks on the republic’s government agencies and civilians, the ministry said.

"The DPR State Security Ministry has received information that a subversive group comprised of members of the Ukrainian Azov terrorist organization has penetrated into the republic and is plotting a series of subversive and terrorist acts against the republic’s government agencies and civilians," spokesman for the DPR Security Ministry Mikhail Popov said.

A video with his statement was posted on the Telegram channel of the DPR territorial defense headquarters.

The saboteurs’ arms cache uncovered in Mariupol contained several automatic guns, ammunition, explosives and remote control devices. The arms cache was found in a dry water well.
