Medvedev asks pro-Kiev warmongers in US to remember Russia’s nuclear deterrents

The politician recalled that "the Pentagon has donated almost $17 billion worth of weapons to Ukraine this year"

MOSCOW, October 11. /TASS/. The deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has asked the warmongers in the US who have been calling for the use of all available means to support Ukraine to never forget the countermeasures of Russia’s nuclear deterrence force.

On Wednesday, Medvedev uploaded a comment to his Telegram channel following a statement by the CIA’s former director, Leon Panetta, who stated that Washington should be ready to use all military means against Russia, including aircraft and cruise missiles, to ensure that it wouldn’t pose a threat to Ukraine.

"He surely understands well enough what retaliatory measures are included in the Russian nuclear deterrence force. Why then does he talk such nonsense?" asked Medvedev. He suspects that the onset of senility may be the reason. Panetta is 84.

Medvedev recalled that "the Pentagon has donated almost $17 billion worth of weapons to Ukraine this year" and sarcastically wondered if the Americans, with their "vast knowledge of geography," even know where Ukraine is.
