DONETSK, October 12. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military suffered about 50 casualties in battles with forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the past day, Spokesman for the DPR People’s Militia Eduard Basurin reported on Wednesday.

"The following enemy armaments and military hardware were destroyed as a result of joint operations by fighters of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Russian army: two M777 howitzers, two trucks with ammunition, three fire emplacements and also three unmanned aerial vehicles. The enemy’s manpower losses amounted to about 50 personnel," the press office of the DPR people’s militia quoted the spokesman as saying on its Telegram channel.

DPR bomb disposal specialists continue work to liquidate PFM-1 Lepestok anti-personnel mines scattered by the Ukrainian military in its bombardments of the republic’s populated localities with cluster munitions, Basurin said.
