Attempted Ukrainian attack thwarted by FSB at logistics terminal in Bryansk

According to FSB, the Ukrainian repented and is helping the investigation

MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has foiled a terrorist attack on a logistics terminal in Bryansk in western Russia being plotted by Ukrainian special services, FSB told TASS on Wednesday.

"FSB thwarted preparations by Ukrainian special services for an act of terror at a logistics terminal in Bryansk. A Ukrainian national born in 1967 who had arrived from Kiev via Estonia to a Russian border area on instructions from Ukraine’s security service was arrested during a search operation," FSB said.

According to FSB, the Ukrainian repented and is helping the investigation. A homemade bomb equivalent to about 3 kg of TNT and devices for contacting the Ukrainian Security Service were confiscated from the man.

FSB launched a criminal case against him.
