DPR strengthens air defenses as Ukraine gets Western weapons — Pushilin

It is reported that the Ukrainian army shells Donetsk and other cities and communities in the DPR every day

UFA, October 11. /TASS/. The air defenses of the Donetsk People’s Republic are being strengthened in view of supplies of Western weapons to the Ukrainian army, the DPR’s acting head Denis Pushilin told TASS on Tuesday.

"Defense measures are being stepped up on the permanent basis. Of course, the air defenses are being strengthened, taking into account the fact that the enemy is getting advanced hardware from the Western countries, which, in fact, are now turning into participants in the conflict to an ever-greater extent," he said during a trip to Ufa.

The Ukrainian army shells Donetsk and other cities and communities in the DPR every day. In recent months the bombardments have been carried out mostly with NATO’s 155-millimeter artillery pieces.
