Russia’s UN envoy says UNGA special session is convened to promote anti-Russian narrative

Vasily Nebenzya said the UN hadn’t yet seen "such sweeping cynicism, confrontation and extremely dangerous polarization as it sees now"

UNITED NATIONS, October 10. /TASS/. Russia’s UN envoy Vasily Nebenzya on Monday said the UN General Assembly special session was convened to promote an anti-Russian narrative.

Speaking at the session, which is dedicated to the Ukrainian crisis, he said the UN hadn’t yet seen "such sweeping cynicism, confrontation and extremely dangerous polarization as it sees now."

"This is especially evident at this session, the politicization of which follows from the fact that it was specifically created to promote a narrative directed against one state - the Russian Federation," the diplomat said.

NATO aims to defeat or weaken Russia, UN envoy said.
