GROZNY, October 5. /TASS/. Chechen "Akhmat" battalions push Ukrainian nationalists from fortified positions in DPR and Kherson Region, head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov reported Wednesday.

"Offensive action in DPR and Kherson Region do not stop even for a minute. […] Servicemen of ‘Zapad-Akhmat’ and ‘Vostok-Akhmat’ battalions literally push Ukrainian nationalists from reinforced positions under guidance of their commanders," Kadyrov said on his Telegram channel, adding that the fighters wished him a happy birthday amid ongoing combat action.

Kadyrov thanked the servicemen, adding that victory would be the best birthday present.
