DPR head says situation around Kremennaya is stabilizing

It is reported that the most difficult axis at the moment is toward Krasny Liman

MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Denis Pushilin, the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, on Wednesday said the situation around the settlement of Kremennaya is stabilizing as the allied forces are building fortifications in the area.

"The most difficult axis at the moment is toward Krasny Liman. Following the well-known events our units are building a fortification line in the area of the settlement of Kremennaya. And the situation at the moment can be described as stabilizing," he said on Rossiya-1 television.

Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said on October 1 that troops had been ordered to pull out of the settlement of Krasny Liman in the Donetsk People’s Republic due to the risk of encirclement and relocated to positions of greater advantage.

He also said that Russian troops had killed more than 200 Ukrainian servicemen in the Krasny Liman area but the enemy brought in reserves and pressed on with its offensive, exploiting a considerable preponderance in manpower and military equipment.
