Security official sees heightened risk of drone attacks against transport in Crimea

It is reported that threats of illegal actions against transport infrastructure facilities in Crimea and Sevastopol have intensified

SEVASTOPOL, October 5. /TASS/. Threats to transport security in Crimea have multiplied, with the probability of drone attacks against vehicles increasing, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev said on Wednesday.

"Threats of illegal actions against transport infrastructure facilities in Crimea and Sevastopol have intensified," he told a security meeting on security in Crimea in the Russian Black Sea city, referring to an analysis of the situation there.

"The likelihood of the use of drones to damage the transport industry has increased," Patrushev added.
