MOSCOW, October 4. /TASS/. Russian combat aircraft, missile and artillery troops struck five Ukrainian command posts in the past day in their special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Tuesday.
"The strikes by operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft, missile and artillery troops struck five Ukrainian army command posts in the areas of the city of Kharkov, the communities of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Nikopol in the Dnepropetrovsk Region, Zelyony Gai in the Kherson Region and Bereznegovatoye in the Nikolayev Region, and also 43 artillery units, manpower and military equipment in 157 areas," the spokesman said.
The strikes also destroyed five ammunition and arms depots in the areas of the settlements of Torskoye, Malinovka and Zhelannoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Dimitrovo in the Zaporozhye Region and Shevchenko in the Nikolayev Region, the general said.
Russian troops destroyed a Ukrainian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system in the Donetsk People’s Republic in their special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov reported.
"In the area of the settlement of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People’s Republic, a Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system was destroyed," the spokesman said.
Russia’s Aerospace Forces struck the headquarters of the Ukrainian Air Force Command East in a precision strike against the south-western outskirts of Dnieper, Konashenkov reported.
"In the south-western outskirts of Dnieper, a precision strike by Russia’s Aerospace Forces hit the headquarters of the Ukrainian Air Force Command East," the spokesman said.
Russian forces eliminated about 100 Ukrainian troops, including mercenaries, in a missile strike in the Kupyansk area, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Kupyansk direction, in the areas of the settlements of Dvurechnaya, Petropavlovka and Kupyansk in the Kharkov Region, the missile strikes against the clusters of manpower of the Ukrainian army’s 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades eliminated up to 100 servicemen, including foreign mercenaries, and 16 pieces of military hardware," the spokesman said.
Russian troops delivered missile strikes against the aircraft repair workshops of the Motor Sich factory in the Zaporozhye Region and wiped out a Ukrainian army ammunition depot, Konashenkov reported.
"The missile strikes in the area of the city of Zaporozhye destroyed an ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army’s 65th mechanized brigade and also the aircraft repair workshops on the premises of the Motor Sich factory. The strikes eliminated over 15 tons of ammunition, including rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, and also two Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopters," the spokesman said.
Russia’s Aerospace Forces delivered strikes against the Ukrainian army’s three brigades in the Krivoi Rog and Andreyevka areas, eliminating up to 250 militants, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Krivoi Rog and Andreyevka areas, the strikes by Russia’s Aerospace Forces against units of the Ukrainian army’s 24th mechanized, 17th armored and 128th mountain assault brigades in the areas of the settlements of Belaya Krinitsa, Arkhangelskoye, Lyubimovka and Zolotaya Balka destroyed nine tanks, 12 infantry fighting vehicles, 20 vehicles and up to 250 servicemen," the spokesman said.
Russian troops destroyed a radar of a Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missile system in the Dnepropetrovsk Region, Konashenkov reported.
"In the area of the settlement of Aleksandrovka in the Dnepropetrovsk Region, a radar of an S-300 surface-to-air missile system was destroyed," the spokesman said.
Russian troops eliminated over 120 militants in the Krasny Liman area, striking the Ukrainian army’s 66th mechanized brigade and two deployment sites of Neo-Nazi formations, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Krasny Liman direction, in the area of the settlement of Torskoye, a massive firepower strike was delivered against units of the Ukrainian army’s 66th mechanized brigade and two temporary deployment sites of nationalist formations. The strike eliminated over 120 nationalists and 14 armored vehicles," the spokesman said.
Russian forces delivered a strike against enemy manpower and equipment near Grigorovka, eliminating up to 90 Ukrainian militants in the Lisichansk area, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Lisichansk direction, a missile strike against manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 54th mechanized brigade in the area of the settlement of Grigorovka destroyed up to 90 troops, three tanks and six armored vehicles," the spokesman said.
Russian air defense forces shot down eight Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, destroyed two Tochka-U ballistic missiles and nine HIMARS and Olkha rockets in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the past 24 hours, the air defense capabilities destroyed eight unmanned aerial vehicles in the areas of the communities of Nikolayevka in the Kharkov Region, Urozhainoye, Stepnoye and Zaporozhskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Pyatikhatki, Aleksandrovka, Kakhovka and Koshara in the Kherson Region. They also shot down two Tochka-U ballistic missiles in the area of the settlement of Rovenki in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.
"In addition, the shot down nine shells of HIMARs and Olkha multiple launch rocket systems in the areas of the communities of Novaya Kakhovka and Chernobayevka in the Kherson Region," the general added.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 312 Ukrainian combat aircraft, 157 helicopters, 2,145 unmanned aerial vehicles, 379 surface-to-air missile systems, 5,336 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 860 multiple launch rocket systems, 3,445 field artillery guns and mortars and 6,226 special military motor vehicles since the beginning of their special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov reported.
