MOSCOW, October 3. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces group that tried to break deep into the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) amounted to about 100 people and over ten vehicles, LPR People's Militia officer Andrey Marochko said during a Channel One TV broadcast on Monday.

"A battalion-tactical group moved out. There were about 100 servicemen, more than ten units of special vehicles. Now our intelligence agencies are clarifying the losses of Ukrainian grouping," he said.

Earlier, Marochko reported that the Ukrainian armed forces group, which had earlier crossed the LPR administrative border, was caught in a kill zone and almost completely destroyed, with the remnants of its forces quickly retreating to previously occupied positions. He also said that the Ukrainian armed forces do not leave attempts to break the line of contact near the town of Kremennaya in the LPR, but the allied forces manage to hold back their advance.
