ST. PETERSBURG, June 25. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed to re-equip Su-25 attack aircraft used by Belarus at Russian factories.

His Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko asked for an adequate response to the training flights of NATO planes near the Belarusian border during talks on Saturday.

The Russian president noted that a rather significant number of Su-25 planes that Belarus has "can be refitted accordingly. However, this modernization should be performed at aircraft factories in Russia, but you and I will reach an agreement as to when to do this and begin training aviation staff accordingly.".
