Putin to take part in SPIEF plenary meeting Friday, meet with a number of world leaders

The forum takes place on June 15-18

MOSCOW, June 15. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the plenary meeting of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday, June 17, the Kremlin press office said Wednesday.

"The meeting will also be attended by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and - via video conference - by President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. The President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping will deliver a video address," the press office said.

The Kremlin added that Vladimir Putin will have bilateral contacts with a number of invited foreign leaders.

"Vladimir Putin will also have a separate meeting with representatives of the Russian media," the Kremlin added.
