MOSCOW, June 15. /TASS/. Moscow is deeply concerned about the situation around Christian presence in Jerusalem, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement on Wednesday.

"We are deeply concerned about the situation around Christian presence in Jerusalem," she pointed out.

According to Zakharova, Moscow is determined to protect Christian presence in the Middle East and promote respect for efforts to ensure religious rights and freedoms.
