Poklonskaya quits as deputy head of Russia’s cultural exchange agency

MOSCOW, June 13. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has decreed to dismiss Natalya Poklonskaya, deputy head of the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

The decree dated June 13 comes into effect on Monday.

Poklonskaya, who served as Russian Ambassador to Cabo Verde from October 2021, was appointed Rossotrudnichestvo deputy chief in early February. She said on Monday she quit for a new post.
